We would like to inform you that new rates and billing rules for Viber messages and SMS to foreign operators will come into effect on July 1, 2026.
The changes are related to an update of Viber’s pricing policy and the transition to a single currency-based billing model for international destinations. We are informing you in advance about all changes so that the terms of service remain transparent and clear.
What will change from July 1, 2026
Viber message rates are being updated
Due to changes in Rakuten Viber’s pricing policy, the rates for sending Viber messages will be updated. We strive to maintain competitive terms, so we have revised the price only within the limits necessary to preserve the quality and stability of the service.
Euro-based billing is being introduced for Viber and SMS to foreign operators
The cost of all Viber messages and SMS to foreign operators will be linked to the euro (for SMS within Ukraine, the billing terms remain unchanged). Funds will be charged from the balance in hryvnias at the official NBU exchange rate at the time the campaign is created. This approach makes billing more transparent and helps avoid frequent price changes caused by currency fluctuations.
Account top-up steps are changing
New account top-up steps will apply, which determine the cost of sending messages: Top-up Step 1: from 1 to 9,999 UAH; Top-up Step 2: from 10,000 to 49,999 UAH; Top-up Step 3: from 50,000 UAH.

The message price is shown including VAT. The higher the top-up amount, the lower the message cost. For Viber and international SMS, billing is performed in euros, while funds are charged from the balance in hryvnias at the NBU exchange rate at the time the campaign is created. The cost of Viber messages in Ukrainian hryvnias is provided for illustrative purposes based on the NBU exchange rate as of June 12, 2026.

The cost of the monthly minimum package for using the Viber sender is 9,000 10,367 hryvnias (200 € at the NBU exchange rate at the time of charging). This amount can be spent on sending Viber messages and chat sessions during the paid month.
